Lefebvre Companies Website Redesign & Logo Concept

Lefebvre Companies is a collective of trucking companies that provides transportation services throughout the Midwest. My role in this project was to give Lefebvre Companies an upgrade to their website and overall branding. I was tasked with supplying them with new logo concepts and collaborating with another web designer to piece together a fresh new website that better explained their services while simultaneously ushering in a photogenic and visually-satisfying experience.Tools Used: Adobe XD, Adobe Illustrator

Holy Trinity Episcopal Church Website & Logo Redesign

Holy Trinity Episcopal Church operates in St. Paul, MN, where all are welcome regardless of belief, background, and life circumstance. After previously having their old website for more than a decade, technological advancement necessitated the need for a website redesign.I was tasked with almost completely overhauling their branding; the only element that remained the same was their trinity logo. However, even this logo needed to be recreated from scratch, as Holy Trinity did not have an SVG file for their logo. Then, I collaborated with another web designer to completely redesign their website with a new color palette to better convey their welcoming and friendly approach to spiritual services.Tools Used: Adobe XD, Adobe Illustrator

Igort's Wand Shoppe Website Concept

As a fan of fantasy and spellcasters, it was a no-brainer that I would create a conceptual e-commerce website for a fictional wand-carver: Cornelia Igort. This website was designed with a cozy color palette, inviting the theoretical wand shopper to browse comfortably with its warm tones, while also being sprinkled with soft blues to incorporate contrast. The font is inspired by antique store signs and other fictional wand shops, such as Ollivanders from Harry Potter.Tools Used: Figma, Adobe Photoshop

North Metro Manufacturing Collective Logo Concept

North Metro Manufacturing Collective (NMMC) is a collective of 10 different companies based in Brooklyn Park, MN. They established in late 2023 and their goal is to have job-seekers consider a position in the manufacturing industry. As a new collective, they of course needed a branding identity. I designed this logo using Brooklyn Park's branding colors, as a nod to the collective's ties to the city, while the handshake and buildings behind it represent the connections NMMC is striving to make between industry and job-seeker. Although this concept was not selected by the collective in the end, it was among the top three considered.Tools Used: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop (for mockups)

Cities of the Arctic Magazine

I designed this magazine to raise awareness about communities near or within the Arctic Circle and to break the notion that the arctic is a barren, uninhabited place. Cities of the Arctic is a 12-page magazine detailing three different arctic cities (Utqiagvik, Alaska, USA; Longyearbyen, Svalbard, Norway; and Iqaluit, Nunavut, Canada). Inside, facts about each city are discussed in articles dedicated to them, ranging from its demographics to its climate. A color palette of royal blue, white, and yellow nod to the cities' cold, northerly location while also alluding to the warmth of small communities.Tools Used: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign

sTEAmy Packaging Concept

sTEAmy is a canned tea packaging concept, centered around the idea of premade microwavable tea in a can, enabling consumers to have hot tea on-the-go without having to prepare it themselves. The origin of the brand's name stems from its idea as a hot tea: a can of the tea that's hot and steamy, while also incorporating some word play; "tea" is within the word "steamy."This concept was published within the art and writing magazine of North Hennepin Community College, Under Construction.Tools Used: Adobe Illustrator

Workplace Discrimination Poster

This poster was designed to raise awareness on workplace disability in recent times, highlighting a frightening statistic from the COVID-19 pandemic. The working QR code directs the audience to an article by the CDC on disability inclusion. The poster's main design purpose is to grab attention via the emphasized 66%. Then, as the passerby reads, their eyes eventually end up on the QR code. Dark gray and red-orange were chosen to highlight the gravity of the social issue while also contrasting each other visually.Tools Used: Adobe Illustrator

Arches National Park Poster Concept

I designed this poster concept of Arches National Park. As a fan of desert landscapes, I wanted to highlight the rich warmth of the arches' colors and the warm climate they reside in. Hence, the poster is a near monochromatic orange. I also incorporated some letter play, as Delicate Arch, the arch featured in this poster, somewht resembles an A without the crossbar. The eagle flying by references the wildlife living in Arches, one such species being the golden eagle.Tools Used: Adobe Illustrator

So, you wanna know about me?

I'm Maggie (she/her, INFJ-T, and a gemini), a published graphic designer and award-winning artist from Minnesota who makes totally cool stuff! I enjoy creating many forms of graphic design; branding, packaging, print layouts, web design, you name it. Variety is my middle name. My software specialties are Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, XD), Figma, and Webflow, because I've gotta make my cool stuff somehow. I also dabble in fine art (painting, drawing, etc.) because that's cool too.Other than that, I'm a cat-obsessed, electronic music-loving gamer who (still) sleeps with stuffed animals. When I'm not creating, you can bet a million dollars I'm hanging out with my cat while playing The Sims. 👍Eternal thanks to:

  • Mom and Dad, who embrace my weirdness and support my interests

  • Gail, for kickstarting my journey through art and design

  • Molly and Sonya, who always made sure to do what was right for me

  • Cheryl, for always having my back

  • Sue, for further supporting my artistic learning

  • Stepan, for always being there for me
